We have been in the field of bioplastics since 2008 and over the past decade we have managed to achieve extremely affordable prices for the end products and optimized our costs.

Today our factory is a worldwide reference for the quality of end products.

As the market leader and partner of European elite chains, we attach particular importance to disposable shopping bags. Recently, in our daily international practice, we have found that there is still significant potential for the introduction of alternative solutions like our products, although the European Commission believes that the Plastic Bags Directive has been successfully implemented (see attached report of December 19, 2018, Page 2, paragraph 2).

Mass retailers decide to offer recycled conventional plastics, which is definitely not in line with the measures set out in EU Directive 2015/720. Recycled or not, plastic is an inert material which, when used on a daily basis, has negative economic, environmental and human health effects. In addition, plastic products below 30 microns do not allow recycling in the respective landfills (technological restriction), and last but not least, 1 plastic product must not go through more than 3 recycling cycles.  Another trend is the use of disposable paper bags. Paper even has a higher price than organic bioplastics. In addition, significant amounts of chemicals are used in its manufacture and it is extremely energy-intensive. Other serious shortcomings that affect retailers' operational activities include: the large volume and weight that the goods take up during storage; The printing of brand elements and texts cannot be achieved with the required quality. The products are hygroscopic and in contact with chilled and frozen products their integrity is compromised. The options for using reusable bags, whether polyethylene or textile, have a negative effect on nature (high CO2 emissions, depending on inert materials and their exhaustion, extremely difficult and degradable in the long term). Here we are going to notice another fact that we are observing in a number of countries - the increasing use of reusable bags in the market is increasing the use of plastic garbage bags in households significantly.

In addition, the products mentioned above are many times more expensive and have been shown to transmit viruses and bacteria.

Imitation products are a serious problem

  • They are easy to determine - have no certificates; they undercut the prices.
  • TÜV Austria Belgium strictly monitors such products and the controls are gradually being strengthened - they are very dangerous and completely prohibited products.
